Message from President - Nepalese New Year 2067 Celebration
Message from the President of NAWA:
The burning hot days are dwindling and the cool comfortable breeze is flowing across our city of Perth. However, it is a little different in Nepal where the harsh winter is about to make room for bassanta, to mark this change of climate, the New Year festivities are about to start. Once again, it is a blessing reminder for us to open our heart, extend our arms, and fill our mind with memory of good times we spent with our friends and families.
NAWA is our common platform for all Nepal linked people living in Western Australia. NAWA has planned to celebrate Nepali New Year 2067 on Saturday 17th of April 2067 with traditional songs, dances, costume and mouth watering delicious Nepali delicacies. This program is also co-sponsored by Government of Western Australia Office of Multicultural Interest. On behalf of NAWA, I sincerely invite Nepali community of Western Australia and the members of broader multicultural society to celebrate the Nepali New Year 2067 with great enthusiasm. This auspicious occasion will give opportunity to share the value of our tradition and culture and reminds us what it means to be a Nepali.
